An awesome newbie to the AMATSUNAWA fine rope portfolio!
Mitsuki is an incredibly soft, flexible, smooth, S-twist, multi-ply, 3-strand rope supplied parallel wound on a practical ø255 x 125mm flanged pulp carton spools.
We
currently have two diameters available:
ø6mm: 150m,
~3kg
ø5mm:
165m, ~3kg
Mitsuki is
a perfectly tensioned loose-lay rope with low fibre loss and almost zero impurities ideal
for beginners and professionals alike. It requires very low maintenance, is
forgiving to rough handling and has a long life span. It's JBO-free, has a
pleasant fresh smell and a beautiful light-golden colour.
For our Mitsuki rope, we have succeeded in finding traditional rope-making technology to have this rope manufactured according to our specifications in the highest quality especially for bondage applications.

As our MITSUKI rope is made from very fine yarn it has a significantly lower breaking point than our single-ply ropes which are wound from a much stronger yarn. Therefore we do NOT recommend our MITSUKI ropes for uplines!

Jute yarn: 100% corchorus olitorius premium grade Tossa jute
Batching oil: Soybean oil
Yarn spools are not infinitely long. Each spool of yarn has a beginning and an end, representing joins in the rope made with a knot. We recommend our customers to remove these knots if possible.

Wonderful S-Strand rope
It’s the softest jute rope I ever had and I am sure it will become even more soft with extensive usage. It’s perfectly even with no flaws. A wonderful raw rope. As I am right handed I prefer the S-Strand. That’s pretty rare and hard to find. Even though most people are right handed, almost all machines twist the other direction. I like the rope to get tighter when doing turns. Thus the S-Strand feels just natural for me. Thanks for offering the Mitsuki rope. I am glad I found it. The twist is lovely loose and becomes even better after treatment. The rope really comes untreated and smells just like natural jute. No machine smell at all. It “drinks” a lot of oil during treatment. After flaming it already feels very personal to me. I think we will have a long and joyful way together :-).
