KIYOMI RED is a strong, flexible, Z-twist medium-wound, 3-strand rope made from a stable single-ply jute yarn with reduced fiber loss. For KIYOMI RED we used pre-dyed 100% Tossa Grade 1 jute yarn that was specifically produced for our use case. The process used to dye our yarn is environmentally friendly and sustainable. And because the yarn was pre-dyed our KIYOMI RED rope maintains its full stability and integrity.
It is suitable for both floor work and suspension work.
Unlike our golden KIYOMI rope, we loosened the twist for KIYOMI RED slightly, as the dying process made the yarn feel a bit "harder". By loosening the twist KIYOMI RED turned out slightly thicker and at the same time softer than our golden KIYOMI rope.
It comes parallel wound
on a practical ø255 x 252 mm
flanged pulp cardboard spool.
It’s available
in 3 diameters:

It has 3 perfectly tensioned strands, has very low fiber loss and hardly any impurities. It is ideal for beginners and professionals alike. This rope is low maintenance, becomes softer and more supple with use and has a long life span.
Like all
our ropes, KIYOMI is of course mineral oil-free, has a pleasant smell and a
vibrant red colour.
You can
find comprehensive conditioning instructions here and we will enclose a flyer with this detailed
information with your shipment. The conditioning process gives KIYOMI RED a significantly more intense colour depth and a subtle sheen. We recommend conditioning KIYOMI RED with our vegan rope butter.

Yarn spools are not infinitely long. Each spool of yarn has a beginning and an end, representing joins in the rope made with a knot. We recommend our customers to remove these knots if possible.
