Was Sie über JBO-Batching-Öl wissen sollten
JBO (Jute-Batching-Oil) ist das Öl, welches im Chargenvorbereitungsprozess verwendet wird. Dieses wird auf die losen Jutefilamente gesprüht bevor diese "gestapelt" werden. JBO ist ein Weichmacher, der die Fasern auf die Garnherstellung vorbereiten soll und ihnen außerdem Kohäsion verleiht.
Während üblicherweise billigeres Mineralöl (JBO) verwendet wird, wird unser AMATSUNAWA-Garn nur mit 100 % kaltgepresstem, mit Vitamin A/D angereichertem Sojabohnenöl besprüht.
Die Kohlenwasserstoffe, welche in mineralischem JBO im C15 - C20 Bereich enthalten sind, werden von der Toxikologie eindeutig als krebserregend eingestuft. Hierzu haben wir entsprechende Studien aufgelistet:
